You've been fired, which is hard.  Allow me to make your situation worse.

You've been fired by the Vector Mining Corporation (V.M.C.), while working a mining job on the outer reaches of space.  No one lives out here and without a job, you've just been stripped of your housing, salary, and life.  The V.M.C. doesn't give a damn, so prove to them that they should.

Assemble a team of similarly down on their luck employees,

Risk it all,

Take back what you are owed from the corporate douchebags who have signed your proverbial death sentence.

Robbing the 3:10 to Ikaros is a space western flavored game inspired by all of the wonderful train robberies I loved watching and listening to with my grandpa as a kid.

Mechanically, the game does use dice, but employes Gambles instead of skill checks to determine success.  A hybrid between a TTRPG and something akin to Liar's Dice, the players will literally keep their dice hidden and 'wager' the success of their tasks upon whether their dice are higher or lower than the Conductor's (GM's) dice.

Don your best poker face and go rob a Train!
